Metallic pigments are supplied in a variety of forms, including powder, paste, and strip, as well as the semi-fluid state of the Decomet® series. Among these, powder-type products feature a relatively high solid content, but dust generation must be guarded against during the ink manufacturing process. Paste and Decomet® semi-liquid forms, on the other hand, may leave residues on the drum walls during production, which require subsequent treatment to avoid affecting the recycling or reuse of the packaging drums.
